The small print

Returns, delivery, and your details.

Written plainly, because small print that needs a lawyer to read isn't much use to either of us. Anything here you're unsure about — just ask me.

Returns

If something arrives damaged, or isn't what I said it was — tell me within 14 days and I'll put it right, either with a replacement or a full refund including whatever it cost to send back. A photo helps but isn't essential; I'm not going to argue with you about a bent corner.

Every original is one of a kind, and photographed as it is. The colours you see are the colours I painted, shot on white paper in daylight — but screens differ, and watercolour is watercolour. Small variations in tone are the medium, not a fault.

Changed your mind? Message me. There's no statutory right to a refund for a change of heart in Singapore, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise — but I'd rather a painting went to someone who actually wants it than sat on a shelf resented. If it comes back unmarked and in its packaging within 14 days, I'll refund it. Postage back is yours; the refund is the full price you paid.

Prints and small things are made in batches and can be replaced easily, so the same 14 days applies, unopened.

Refunds go back the way they came, through PayNow, usually within a few working days of us agreeing.

Delivery

Free, anywhere in Singapore. There's no postage line at checkout because it's already in the price. I'm not shipping overseas at the moment — if you're abroad and you want a bird, message me and we'll work something out.

Packed by hand, usually within a few days. I paint from a little table around three children, so I won't promise next-day anything. If you need something by a particular date, put it in the note at checkout and I'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.

Tracking isn't standard, but I'll use it for anything valuable and tell you the number when I post it. If you'd like it tracked regardless, just say so in the note.

Pickup or meeting up is often easier for both of us, especially if I'm at a market that week. Choose it at checkout and I'll message you to sort out where and when.

Originals are held for 15 minutes while you pay, so nobody else can buy the same one out from under you mid-payment. If the payment doesn't complete, it goes back up automatically and nothing is charged.

Your details

What I ask for, and why. To send you an order I need your name, your email, and — if it's going in the post — your address. Your mobile number is optional and only used if something goes wrong with a delivery. That's the whole list, and every part of it exists so a parcel reaches you.

Nothing is sold, shared or handed on. Not to advertisers, not to anyone. The only place your address goes is on the envelope.

The payment isn't handled here. When you pay, you're on HitPay's page, and they're the ones who see the transaction. This site never receives or stores your bank details, and there's nothing here for anyone to steal.

The mailing list is separate. If you joined it, that's just your email address, and only because you asked. Every letter has a way off, or you can write to me and I'll take you off myself.

Ask me to delete it, and I will. Your order details, your email, all of it — email me and it's gone. I keep past orders so I can answer questions about them and because I have to keep records of sales, but nothing has to stay longer than that.

Cookies — there aren't any. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixels. Your basket is remembered by your own browser and never leaves it until you check out.
