    The painter — Hooi See

I paint the feelings words can't quite reach.

I'm an artist and a mum of three, painting from a little table in Singapore. My birds are quirky, abstract, a touch imperfect — because that's exactly how all of us are, and that's the whole point.

It began as a quiet conversation with my daughter at a little library about how we reach for the same three tired words. So I painted her a map of the sky in between.

Copy your message first — Instagram often can't fill it in for you, and the thread opens blank. Their message link only works in the phone app, so on a computer email is the easier route. If the mail button does nothing, there's no mail app set up here — copy the address instead.
